Starts with a vision. In sports it is either about your career, winning a championship and most times includes both of those visions

Perseverance - Fighting through obstacles and frustration

Integrity to yourself and your dreams- Are my thoughts and actions in alignment with intentions
- honing the skills of your craft
- Practice, practice, practice
- Protect your Yes - Does this serve my purpose or goals
- Be a doer in the outside world.

Define what success means to you
This is from my journal prompt for today. I’ve thought about this or similar questions quite often and I’ve never really found an answer that encompassed the feeling of success that I desire until today.
For me success is:
"I am creating my experiences of life. I value myself and my contribution to my environment as well as serve others in an impactful way that creates energy, passion and movement in their lives."
On a scale of 1-10 my willingness to play for this vision at 10 will no doubt create the life of my dreams. I also see that living my dream life does not include the absence of pain or sadness. Nor does it include perfection and ease! Similar to sports there will be moments of frustration, hurt, sadness and unabashed joy! In fact these emotions and feelings are essential to living the dream.
Don’t believe me? Look at the reactions of any team or person that wins a championship. There is joy and there are tears. Joy in the accomplishment of the pursuit of a worthy goal. Tears for the time, frustrations and dogged determination needed to get to the goal.
